A girl who disappeared in Boyd County has been found safe

Before this morning's welcome announcement Lillian Magwire hadn't been seen since Friday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A girl who disappeared in Boyd County last week has been found safe.

The Boyd County Sheriff’s Office made the announcement Wednesday morning that many have been praying for.

Lillian Magwire was reported missing on Friday in the village of Spencer.

She didn’t show up to an event, and deputies had reason to believe she may be traveling to Grand Island.

There was heightened concern due to Magwire lacking necessary medication.

Without it, authorities said she could be a danger to herself and others.

No word just yet on where Magwire was found, but officials are thanking everyone who helped search for her.
