FLEMING COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) – A man has been arrested in connection to a 2021 structure fire in Hillsboro.
The Kentucky State Police (KSP) at Post 8 in Morehead was requested to help investigate the fire on July 8, 2021.
The investigation concluded the fire was an act of arson and a suspect was identified.
Almost a year later on June 17, an arrest has been made.
Shawn Jones, 51, of Hillsboro was arrested and charged with second-degree arson.
