The Cordell Academic Foundation is geared up and ready to host another incredible fundraiser for their school supply project this year.
With this being their sixth annual golf fundraiser tournament, their goal has remained the same: To provide every needed school supply for every Cordell Elementary student.
Brooke Dodd, who is an active member of the Cordell Academic Foundation, will head the school supply project again this year.
The Cordell Academic Foundation School Supply Project Fundraiser Golf Tournament takes place this Saturday, June 25, at the Crooked Creek Golf Course in Cordell. All proceeds will go directly to Cordell Elementary School.
Registration begins at 8 am and tee starts at 9 am. This will be a four-person scramble event costing $200 per team.
The event will be limited to the first 18 teams and will include cash prizes for the winners. There will be contests taking place during play as well as a grilled pork sandwich lunch provided by Farm Credit.
Although individuals may contribute to the fundraiser by entering and participating in the event, another source of funds for the project is through sponsorship from local businesses.
