A North Fork homeowner had been without water for nearly a month.

Dave Fisher says his pump went out and says he was getting the run around from the pump drilling company in Coarsegold.

"Nobody should have to go through this," said Fisher. "This is plain ridiculous. A businessman doesn't do his business like this."

Fisher spent nearly $4700 in January getting his pump fixed. Sierra Nevada Drilling did the job. It came with a warranty.

"About a month ago the well went out again," said Fisher. "I had no water so I called him and I've called him every single day since it went out."

Fisher says the owner promised to send someone by but he just kept waiting.

Sierra Nevada Drilling made a service call Wednesday morning after FOX26 News reporter Rich Rodriguez ran a story about it the night before.

The pump is working again.

Chance Alberta the owner of Sierra Nevada Drilling says the pump is working again but it’s only producing a gallon a minute.

He says that’s common for homes in the mountain communities.

Fisher owns the property but his daughter and son-in-law live there.

Fisher said they would have to go to his house to shower and do their laundry.

"They don't have water in the house. Other than what I bring in a truck. They have to come over to my house to take showers. They have to come over to my house to wash their clothes."
