Price City Council Member, Olson Entertainment was excited to stop by Castle Country Radio to talk about the upcoming Price City Culture Connection concert set to take place on Thursday, June 23 at 7:00 pm and will feature Mopsy.

Culture Connection is a weekly gathering of neighbors, friends and families to enjoy an outdoor concert. “We definitely seen a lot of growth with community wise, more engagement. The food trucks are definitely a pull because we’ve seen a lot more people come early, enjoy the food and then perfect timing music starts and it’s dinner and music,” said Laura Olson. Officials have been very pleased with the attendance the summer concerts have brought to the Price City Peace Garden.

There will be one group taking the stage on Thursday evening. “Yea, Mopsy we are excited to bring them. They’re a new upcoming band from Salt Lake they got their feet wet, they performed at a few places already like the DLC, The Hut, places like that up there. They’re an indie band, they play covers from bands like the Strokes, things like that,” said Laura Olson. The group will take the stage at 7:00 pm and play a 90-minute set.

Food Trucks will be on hand again for guests to enjoy a tasty treat or delicious food during the concert. “So we are going to have Tallies & Smallies, Getting’ Our Smoke On, Angel’s Cravings, Sweet Treats,” said Laura Olson. There is sure to be something enjoyable to eat for all guests.

The outdoor summer concerts are a great way to unwind from the hustle and bustle of a busy work week. Spectators are reminded to bring their lawn chairs and blankets as they find a spot to sit and enjoy the band. Remember to invite family members, friends and neighbors out for an entertaining evening at the Price City Peace Garden on Main Street.
