DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A new Popeyes location opened on Miller Lane in Dayton Tuesday
Located at 6793 Miller Ln. in Dayton, the newest Popeyes Louisiana Chicken location had its grand opening at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
Local dignitaries, chamber members and franchise management were there to celebrate the opening of the 7th Popeyes location in Dayton.
The Humane Society of Greater Dayton was there for a $500 check presentation as Popeyes donated to the organization. The Humane Society also brought a furry friend who is up for adoption.
Rob Beil, brand vice president of Popeyes, said the company is focused on giving back to the community and the new location helps with that goal.
“The location here at the commons is unbelievable. I mean the traffic count and the opportunities that we have to serve the community is far-reaching.”
In addition to donating to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton, Popeyes is also accepting donations for No Kid Hungry.
“It’s an unbelievable foundation that donates money back into the local communities. Really helps the either food deserts or, you know, the communities that are struggling to keep the kids fed throughout the summer while they’re out of school.”
