Penfield Beach in Fairfield celebrates International Yoga Day with free event

Today is International Yoga Day!

The Edge Fitness Clubs held its annual Yoga on the Beach event in Fairfield's Penfield Beach this morning.

Instructors not only took their classes to Penfield Beach, but also to a park in Bethel.

The Edge says this is the first summer since the pandemic began that they could hold these events without restrictions.

"Our big focus this year is to be more connected to our community now that people are out again after COVID," said Ron Magliocco, VP of marketing for Edge Fitness Clubs.
