Gary Goodner age 51 formerly of Ansley, NE passed away June 16, 2022, at the Great Plains Health in North Platte, NE.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 23, 2022, at 10:00 am at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow, NE with Pastor Rick Eldred officiating. Burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery northwest of Anselmo, NE. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm with family greeting 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow. Gary Lynn Goodner was born March 10, 1971, in Lexington, NE to Darrell and Carol (Parker) Goodner. Gary attended grade school in Cozad, NE, then attending and graduating from Anselmo-Merna High School in 1989. After high school Gary worked at several different jobs as a heavy equipment operator, working for Brad Griebel, Perry Myers, and Harlan Berghorst. Gary lived in Custer County most of his life, after an ATV accident which left him disabled.
Gary’s hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping, and motorcycles.
Gary is survived by his wife Tanya Lessert of Berwyn, daughters Linsey Studnicka, of Crawford, Zoe Lessert of Kearney, Chavi Goodner of Berwyn, and Camille Goodner of Berwyn, four grandkids David Goodner-Wilke of Broken Bow, Alijah Miller and Ava Ramsdell of Rapid City, SD, and Rowan Studnicka of Crawford, parents Darrell and Carol Goodner of Broken Bow, four brothers Dennis, Kenny, Mark, and Ben, five sisters Elizabeth, Rachel, Mary, Abbie, and Joanna and families.
