Illinois Man Seriously Injured in Deer/Motorcycle Accident in St. Francois County

(Doe Run) A man from Alton, Illinois was flown to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis with serious injuries after a deer/motorcycle collision in St. Francois County early Sunday morning.
The accident took place on Highway 221 at Henson Road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 41-year-old Steven Koenig struck a deer with his Honda motorcycle.
The motorcycle was totaled.
