Just in Time for the First Day of Summer—Swimsuit Weather Coming This Week!

Hot letters with sun

Pull out those swimsuits. A large warm beach on the Eel or the Trinity Rivers is just waiting for you to plop your wet swimsuit onto it and relax for a whole day.

Tomorrow though Saturday, the weather is predicted to get into the 90’s or even creep into the low 100’s the first day of the weekend in SoHum, Willow Creek, and Hayfork.

The National Weather Service in Eureka wrote on their Facebook page, “High pressure aloft building across northern California will result in increasingly hot interior temperatures through mid-week. Cool northerly winds will persist near the coast each afternoon. High pressure will likely keep northwest California dry throughout the week, with plentiful sunshine.”

That our first day in the 90’s inland is on the solstice, I just can’t remember that. Or the salads we have been enjoying, despite the thick socks and sweaters still being out. Damn Chinese cabbage still bolted, time to ditch that one. Usually my wife has had me cover the skylights for a 100 degree spell in mid-May, instead we are still enjoying their warmth in the morning

Finally breaking away from the rain, definitely ready for this so-called drought to kick in. The national news will run with any story that people will bite on, drama sells. Pro-tip , take about 6 months off from the news and then give me an opinion of this nation.

Nope, cause the current president has no responsibilities, right? Totally useless President, thats about the lamest excuse , now stand proud while innocent Ukrainians die while we stand by and watch. Joe Biden is useless.

Right-field…What does that have to do with the first day of summer…? I don’t like your shoes but I’m not going to bring it up in every conversation regardless of topic. Yes, it was a beautiful Sunny warm day and it was no body’s fault.

Kalalau Valley Electric. The climate changes because humans have no control over anything beyond living to the next sunset. Never listen to a progressive democrat troll. Elephants, gorillas, orangutans, chimpanzees, lemurs, and dogs deserve more respect than Brandom and his minions. Have a great summer!

Willow creek is Humboldt/ Trinity county line , crack me up. Is the majority of Humboldt green with lush grass from current rains? You guys are delusional, just like Biden is the best you could muster , lmao. Put your feet down Joe ,you won’t fall over .

It’s gonna be hot but the water in the Trinity river is still cold
It’s sad that every year we have young people drown at Kim to or Tish Thang

Usually a young man trying to save a dog
Please be careful.

90-100 degrees? No thanks. Hits 70 here along the coast it’s a heat wave. It’s the sandy shore along the ocean for me.
