Illinois woman dies in shuttle bus crash in Hawaii

A tragic incident occurred in Hawaii last Friday when a shuttle bus struck and killed a 68-year-old woman from Pocahontas, Illinois. The victim has been identified as Dianna Cricelli.

According to investigators, the accident happened when the shuttle bus driver exited the vehicle without realizing it was still in motion. In an attempt to stop the bus, he mistakenly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake. The bus then collided with two concrete barriers and hit five people, including Cricelli.

While the other four individuals involved in the accident survived, Cricelli succumbed to her injuries. The incident is under further investigation by local authorities.
