Luka Doncic has been in the NBA for only four years, but he's already made a lot of noise in the association. Playing for the Dallas Mavericks is not easy, as the team has failed to give him a team that can aspire to win a title, yet Luka has thrived, taking them to the playoffs in three straight years.

This season, they were eliminated by the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals, but the Texans realized that their time might be coming soon if they make the right moves.

Meanwhile, Luka keeps earning praise around the league, with more people showing their admiration for the Slovenian player. During a recent interview on The Rich Eisen Show, Tracy McGrady lauded Luka's way to play the game and control the pace whenever he steps onto the court.

“Luka is pretty damn good. I love watching Luka because Luka is not the fastest, he’s not the quickest, he can’t jump over a dollar but skill-wise, his skill level is off the charts, he knows how to control the pace of the game, he knows how to create space and get his shot off anybody whether it’s somebody that’s bigger-stronger, quicker than him. He just knows how to play the game and control the pace.”

That facet of his game has granted Luka a lot of good words. This is very similar to what LeBron James had to say about him a couple of weeks ago. The King explained what made Luka so special, and the Los Angeles Lakers superstar credited his ability to control the game.

"His size. He's gigantic. A 6'8" guard. He's 225 pounds. He has the ball on a string, and more importantly, his vision. He can control a game. He doesn't even have to shoot. He would walk the ball up the court 10 straight times and get to his spot every single time. Just because of his pace. He knows where he comes off a pick and roll, if they're hard-showing, if they're hedging, or if they're dropping the pick and roll, he knows I can turn the corner 'cause I got this shoulder, and I know the third line of defense, when I get there, if I just slow down, just slow down and use my pivots, not even jump, just the Euro one-two, this guy's flying by. He's flying by every time. It's the mind," LeBron said.

Luka Doncic has everything to be an incredible figure in the NBA. The Slovenian is just starting and it looks like the Mavericks are finally putting the right pieces together for him. His NBA career is already starting and we'll surely hear and see a lot more from this incredible talent.
