Terrence Ross available for trade

- by

Terrence Ross is available on the trade market, league sources told HoopsHype. Previously at the trade deadline, the asking price for Ross was a first-round pick. With Ross now owed $11.5 million in the final year of his contract, rival teams with interest are hoping Orlando lowers its asking price to multiple second-round picks, similar to when the team previously traded Evan Fournier to the Celtics.

The Wizards, as covered here recently, are open to trading the No. 10 overall pick in their quest for a proven point guard. No. 7 Portland and No. 8 New Orleans are likewise teams in the top 10 said to have a willingness to trade out of their top-10 picks for win-now compensation. I’ve heard more and more lately that Memphis (which holds Nos. 22 and 29) has been trying hard to move up in the draft. -via marcstein.substack.com / June 18, 2022
I’m told that Vasilije Micić, after winning back-to-back MVP awards in the EuroLeague Final Four with Anadolu Efes, is eager to make the leap to the NBA next season. Yet that will almost certainly require a trade, with the 28-year-old’s NBA rights held by Oklahoma City and the Thunder presumed to prefer moving Micić elsewhere. -via marcstein.substack.com / June 18, 2022
The Philadelphia 76ers are shopping the 23rd overall pick aggressively with Danny Green to add an impact player who can contribute immediately. Hardy, or anyone else selected by Philadelphia, could be on the move. -via HoopsHype / June 18, 2022
