The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northeastern Hale County in west central Alabama…
Southwestern Bibb County in central Alabama…

* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 516 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Low Gap, or
10 miles west of Brent, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Brent, Centreville, Eoline, Low Gap, Mertz, Harmon and Pearson.
