MORENCI — Installation of power poles will create traffic delays in Morenci over the next few days.
On Monday, from 1-2 p.m., U.S. Highway 191 will be reduced to one lane between the Marathon Gas station turn off and the stop light at Haralson Tire Pros and Auto Service.
On Tuesday, there will be intermittent 5-10 minute road closures for digging and setting of the second pole.
Thursday and Friday will see 15 minute intermittent closure while wire and rope is pulled across the highway.
To avoid construction zones, Copper Verde Road is the recommended alternate.
