Eastbound U.S. 50/400 Closed in Kearny and Finney Counties

The Kansas Department of Transportation will be closing eastbound U.S. 50/400 starting Wednesday, June 8, until Monday, June 20. The closure is necessary to allow Pioneer Lines to undergo a project that consists of replacement of the railroad crossing and concrete pavement located 5 miles west of Garden City between North Sherlock and North Anderson.

The map below shows the approximate location of the closing. Signs will direct traffic to follow the signed detour on North Big Lowe Rd, Old U.S. 50, Jones Avenue and North Anderson Road. See the route outlined in blue on the map below.
