From mischief to matrimony.
Tom Hiddleston has confirmed speculation that he and longtime girlfriend Zawe Ashton are engaged.
While he didn’t tell The Los Angeles Times much about his romance in a new interview, the 41-year-old “Loki” star, did note that he proposed in March.
“I’m very happy,” Hiddleston added to the outlet.
March is also when speculation began that their relationship was heading toward wedded bliss, as the couple’s British Academy Film Awards appearance was best remembered for the diamond sported by the “Fresh Meat” actress on her left ring finger.
The couple, who made their red carpet debut at the 2021 Tony Awards, starred opposite each other in 2019 in both the West End and Broadway revivals of the Harold Pinter play, “Betrayal.”
Prior to this relationship, Hiddleston infamously dated Taylor Swift for the very short, yet widely photographed time that was the summer of 2016.
