Kit Carson County eats meat
The second annual ‘Meat In’ sponsored by the Kit Carson County Meat Producers was a delicious success. The event began last year in protest to Governor Jared Polis’s attack on the rural/agriculture sectors of the state with his ‘Meat Out Day’. Held in the new show pavilion at the KCC Fairgrounds, the event featured the wonderful tastes of local farmers, ranchers, livestock producers, local businesses, charitable organizations, and individuals. There was live music, face painting, miniature cows, and lots of good company to accompany the good food.
