Burlington Chamber’s 18th Annual Celebration of Summer this weekend

Get ready for a weekend of fun at the 18th Annual Celebration of Summer, sponsored by the Burlington Chamber of Commerce. Everything is free and it’s happening rain or shine.

On Friday, June 17, Drag Main for the Midway will be from 5-7 p.m., and pre-registration for the Car, Bike, and Antique Tractor Show, sponsored by Vince’s GM Center, will take place from 6-8 p.m. at Parmer Park.

The Tripping Griswolds will be the special musical guest from 7-9 p.m.

All of Saturday, June 18, events will be held at Parmer Park. These include the Car, Bike and Antique Tractor Show, kids’ games and activities, food vendors, beer wagon and live music from local bands and the Burlington Cougar Drumline.

Registration for the Car, Bike and Antique Tractor show is from 8-11 a.m., with the show itself from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Awards will be given out at 3 p.m. Best in Show wins a top prize of $250.

The Cougar Drumline will perform at 11 a.m. with local bands following until 2 p.m. Other music throughout the afternoon and evening will include Brent Michael Wood from 2-6 p.m. and Esper Winds from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Bring the whole family and enjoy the cars, music, food, and everything else the Burlington Chamber of Commerce will be putting together.
