GAGLIARDI – DiAnne G. Gagliardi of St. Marys, Ga., died unexpectedly at the Southeast Georgia Health System hospital May 25, 2022. She had been a Camden County resident for 18 years.

Upon high school graduation in New York state, she attended beautician school in Rochester, N.Y., and then worked as a hairdresser there for several years. In 1964, she married Dennis Gagliardi. Together, they had three surviving children, Robert, LeAnne, and Steven (Kristi) Gagliardi; six grandkids, Shelby, Carly, Tanner, Nicholas, Brenton and Anton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her brother, Tony (Sherry) Wilson; sister, Sandy (Bill) Rich; and former spouse, Dennis.

DiAnne was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Yolanda Wilson, and brother, Dale, all of Franklinville N.Y.

DiAnne was a talented lady, particularly as a doll maker and seamstress. Her family was talented in writing and art. She was a grade school tutor/teacher’s aide in her younger years in Hamilton, Ohio, after her own children were grown.

She loved to dabble in the garden, tend to her landscaping, attend Bible study class and do arts and crafts. Locally she was a regular member of First Baptist Church (FBC) in Kingsland, Ga.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to: CBN/Samaritan’s Purse, Wounded Warrior Project, FBC Kingsland or the local Humane Society of Kingsland. Her pet is a rescue dog named AJ.

Allison Memorial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of cremation services with no immediate services planned.
