Ipswich Trail Days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Ipswich. Highlights include live music by Lizzy Hofer and Avenger Joe at 7 p.m. Friday, a parade at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, kids and family activities, a car show, saddle bronc and bull riding at 4 p.m. Saturday and a concert featuring Canaan Smith and Thomas Mac at 8 p.m. Saturday. Arts in the Park: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Melgaard Park near the intersection of South State Street and 17th Avenue Southeast. Vendors, artisans and concessionaires fill the park for this annual event. Free admission.

Junedeenth: Noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, Central Park, 315 Second Ave. S.E. Free yoga session at noon and open mic at 4 p.m. hosted by Jon Boon McNutt. Yard games, work by local artists, voter registration. Grilling allowed, but no charcoal grills and no alcohol. Aberdeen's free Juneteenth event will be canceled if weather conditions are unsafe.
