BUDENSKI – Bevelyn Kay Budenski, 78, of St. Marys, Ga., gently passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022, at the Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta under the care of hospice. She was surrounded by loved ones as she entered the Lord’s house.

Bevelyn was born March 9, 1944, in Logan, W.V., to the late French Browning and Willia Vead. At a very young age, her family moved to Taylor, Mich., where she graduated high school in 1962. In 1993, she relocated to Camden County to be near her family. Bevelyn continued her career in property management, as well as advertising. She was a member of the Camden County Chamber of Commerce and the American Business Women’s Association, and she founded the local chapter of the Property Manager’s Association. She was actively involved in the organization of many community events during the 1990s. She very much enjoyed her daily devotionals, photography, entertaining, traveling, playing cards, writing songs and making memories with her many loved ones. She was sweet and sassy, loving and patient, kind and giving. And she loved unconditionally. She was a member of the St. Marys United Methodist Church.

Bevelyn is survived by her loving husband, Jim; daughter, Karen (Chris) Toler of St. Marys, Ga.; son, Douglas Golden of Walton, Ky.; stepdaughters, Karen (Helge) Johnson of Eagan, Minn., Michelle Ludke of Kingsland, Ga., and Jennifer (Bret) Behnke of Richfield, Minn.; grandchildren, Andrew (Leilani), Sean (Kristin), Samantha (Matthew), Miranda (Katie), Sabrina (Alan), French (Tiffany), Charles, Sabastian, William, Georgia, Liberty, Gunnar, Jenna, Joshua, Alex and Sophia; eight great-grandchildren who were so very blessed to know her; and brother, Sandy Browning of Taylor, Mich.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in by her brother, Roger Browning, and sister, Patricia Bacha, as well as many loved ones.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2022, at St. Marys United Methodist Church in St. Marys, Ga., with Pastor Roy White and the Rev. Vernon Dillingham officiating.

A donation to the American Heart Association, in lieu of flowers, would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
