Jackass star Bam Margera is missing after he fled a rehab facility in Florida. The reality TV fixture reportedly left the facility, where he was staying under court orders, and was reported missing Monday (June 13), TMZ reports. Margera allegedly told a manager at the treatment center that he was unsatisfied with his experience there and planned to check in to an alternate facility, per TMZ.

The outlet reports that Margera left the facility in a black car, and while police tried to locate him on Monday, their attempts were unsuccessful. Staff at the rehab center said Margera was not a danger to himself or others, per TMZ.

Margera posted a photo to his Instagram Tuesday (June 14) night, sharing a photo of himself and his “new AA sponsor.” He captioned the image, “MMA fighter, chiropractor and ten years sober Dominick, is my new AA sponsor.🤘💜#fuCKYeah”

Along with his most recent post, Margera also shared an image to his Instagram Story, including a photo of himself, his wife and the rapper Machine Gun Kelly.

Margera has battled addiction issues for years, and first entered rehab in December 2009. Last month, TMZ reported that Margera had marked one year in a drug and alcohol treatment program and planned to continue treatment classes in the coming months.

He told TMZ in May that he was living close to the Florida treatment center in Boca Raton, where his wife and son had moved in with him.

Before his most recent rehab stint, Margera had been dropped from Jackass Forever after he failed a drug test, breaking his contract. Margera allegedly tested positive for Adderall, appeared in a single stunt in the film, Variety reported earlier this year.

Johnny Knoxville, Margera’s Jackass co-star, told the outlet at the time, “We wanted him all throughout the movie, but unfortunately that’s not the way it worked out. It’s really heartbreaking. I love Bam. We all love Bam. He’s our brother, you know? You just hope that he takes it upon himself to get the help that he needs, because we all care about him a lot.”
