SUNY Canton is making it easier for students to bring a part of the family to school with them by expanding its pet-friendly housing. Starting this fall, the college is launching a dog-friendly housing option for students, the university announced.
The program is building on the popular pet-friendly wing in the Mohawk Residence Hall which started in 1997, according to SUNY Canton. This area traditionally only allows small animals, such as cats, rabbits, fish, and hamsters. This fall, a floor in the Rushton Residence Hall will now allow dogs.
