The annual horse racing took place at the Russell County Fair over the weekend with a number of races throughout the day.
Local winners included:
Flying Jack and Flying Frank owned by Justin Godsey of Russell Springs in the 1/4 mile derby and the Buddy Barrel Race.
Star owned by Jonathan Browder of Russell Springs in the Pony Race.
Bullet owned by Randa Ballenger of Russell Springs in the 220 Yard Quarter Horse Sprint.
