On a hot Saturday morning with temperatures over 100 degrees, Dumas celebrated its 75th annual Dogie Days Parade after a one-year hiatus due to COVID-19. The Dumas Noon Lions Club sponsored the event, with proceeds going to local charities and to help buy glasses for people unable to afford them.
