Toni Storm Reveals She Was Contacted About Working ROH Supercard of Honor Before Tony Khan Purchase
– During a recent interview with Renee Paquette on The Sessions podcast, AEW star Toni Storm revealed that she was contacted about working the ROH Supercard of Honor show during WrestleMania Weekend. Ultimately, Toni Storm opted not to participate, but she noted that being asked to work the show got her very excited about wrestling again.
According to Storm, Ring of Honor contacted her about working the show “before Tony Khan bought Ring Of Honor” (via WrestlingInc.com). She added, “But when I was contacted about that the thought of me wrestling again, I was like, ‘Ooh, hey, I would like to do that.’ Something clicked … It’s the best job in the world and it shouldn’t be a misery.”
Toni Storm ultimately signed with AEW in March, and she debuted on the March 30 edition of AEW Dynamite.
