Nordin was waived by the Patriots with a non-football injury designation Friday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Nordin hasn't been practicing this spring due to an injury, and he'll revert to the reserve/NFI list if he passes through waivers. After waiving Nordin, New England signed Tristan Vizcaino to provide additional depth at kicker during camp.
