A northeast Missouri suspect charged with 19 counts of domestic assault had been released on bond a few days ago.
He is now back behind bars.
On Friday, Brant McCormack, 38, of Unionville, Missouri, was re-arrested by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
According to online court documents, McCormack violated conditions of his release by having contact or communication with his accuser or his accuser's family.
The woman at the center of the case told investigators McCormack did many bad things to her, including dragging her by her hair, trying to suffocate her with a pillow and multiple instances of trying to choke her, just to name a few.
McCormack's bond was originally set at $100,000 cash only. A few days after his arrest, the judge agreed to allow the suspect to post 10% in order to be released.
Bond has now been reset to $100,000 cash only.
