Shooting at Iverson Mall in Maryland leaves at least three injured in terrifying attack
THREE people have been hospitalized after several rounds were fired outside a mall.
The shooting occurred near a Chipotle restaurant at The Shops at Iverson Mall in Temple Hills, Maryland, on Friday afternoon.
The Prince George Police Department said the victims are adults, two females and one male.
Police say the male is currently in critical condition, while the two females suffered what appears to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Their names and ages were not immediately made available.
Officials assured that there is no active shooter warning in effect.

Police are searching for one or more suspects who fled the scene.
Sources told 7News that two men were walking out of the mall entrance when they turned around and started shooting at a group of individuals behind them.
"We must address these senseless acts of gun violence by any means," PGCP Chief Malik Aziz said.
"Something must be done to address this violence."
NORTH CAROLINA MALL SHOOTING
The incident at the Iverson Mall unfolded about an hour after four others were injured following another shooting at Eastridge Mall in Gastonia, North Carolina.
Gastonia Police Chief Travis Brittain said officials are getting mixed information about where the shooting unfolded after initially saying that the shots were fired inside the mall's food court.
Three people were transported to local hospitals with gunshot wounds.
Their injuries were also described as non-life-threatening.

A fourth victim became known to officials after he showed up at a hospital in Charlotte, police said. His condition was not immediately known.
Officials said two people of interest are being interviewed at police headquarters.
