Flashback Match: Alicia Fox vs. Eve Torres Money in the Bank 2010

Tragic news has struck the world of professional wrestling with the word that one of wrestling's biggest stars has lost his life at the age of 38. Celebrity entertainment outlet TMZ, which is known for breaking the news of many deaths of famous people around the world, broke the news of the death of legendary wrestler Jay Briscoe, who has tragically died in a car crash at the age of 38.

Matches – Bianca Belair (c) vs. Alexa Bliss – Raw Women’s Championship.

Many women’s wrestling fans were not happy by the middle of the Raw XXX episode which took place on Jan. 23. If it wasn’t for the lack of women’s legends to celebrate 30 years of Raw, it was the advertised match between Bayley and Becky Lynch inside of a steel cage did not happen. What ended up taking place was Damage CTRL attacking Lynch inside the cage before making their escape.

The 2023 Royal Rumble is almost here! One of the fan’s favorite events of the year will take place this Saturday and it will hold the sixth women’s Royal Rumble match. A favorite match type of many, for women’s wrestling fans we weren’t able to have the full joy of the women participating in this match until 2018.

Bianca Belair hits another milestone in her career as she has reached 300 days as Raw Women’s Champion. Belair has held the gold since she defeated her rival Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 38. This puts her just five days behind Charlotte Flair’s total combined days (with six reigns) of 305 and just nine days behind Asuka (with two reigns) at 309. The only two women who have a longer combined day reign are Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch.

Tonight’s Royal Rumble event will feature the Raw Women’s Championship being defended as the champ for over 300 days Bianca Belair faces Alexa Bliss. The build up for this match has seen the change in Bliss from being an ally of Belair to morphing back to her evil ways. This time including the influence of Uncle Howdy which we still don’t know the full story. More will likely unfold in the match tonight, but will this evil side of Bliss be enough to dethrone Belair before WrestleMania?

A SmackDown Women’s Championship match has been set for next week. After the persistent nature of Sonya Deville, the champion Charlotte Flair informed Adam Pearce that she will let her have a title match. On this week’s SmackDown, it was shown that earlier in the day during Flair’s interview...

Fans have not seen Doudrop in the ring since Sept. 6 when she teamed up with Nikki A.S.H in a successful victory against Toxic Attraction in NXT. Since then, Nikki has become Nikki Cross again and has moved forward without Doudrop by her side. Doudrop recently commented on Twitter that she was very sick, but is healing. She goes into more detail when speaking with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture.

On the Jan. 27 episode of NXT Level Up, Dani Palmer took on Lola Vice. This was Vice’s first televised match and in turn, it ended up being Palmer’s first victory. Vice was signed with WWE after last year’s WrestleMania tryouts. She worked on some NXT Live shows prior to this debut match. As for Palmer, she debuted on NXT Level Up back in November in a losing effort against Thea Hail. She appeared in the New Year’s Evil Battle Royal but has not had a singles match on NXT.

Formerly The Boss and now The CEO, Mercedes Mone is ready to take her talent globally. She appeared at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 17 event earlier in the month and already has herself a championship bout against a familiar competitor KAIRI. The IWGP Women’s Champion will put her gold on the line against Mone at Battle in the Valley next month.
