Jordan Fisher is a father!
The 28-year-old actor’s wife, Ellie Woods, gave birth to their first baby, a son, Tuesday.
“what a journey this has been,” the couple captioned their infant’s Instagram debut three days later. “we’re so incredibly blessed to finally meet our first born 💜.”
The pair went on to reveal the newborn’s name, Riley William Fisher, noting that he was born at 4:20 p.m. on June 7.
“Congrats Jordan!” Frankie Muniz commented on the Friday social media upload, while Dove Cameron gushed, “I am fully crying at the airport.”
Fisher and Woods, 23, wed in November 2020 and announced in December of the following year that they were starting a family.
“And the journey begins…we can’t wait to meet you 💙,” the duo captioned their 2021 Instagram reveal.
In the social media upload, the then-expectant star told her husband to put a jacket on with a positive pregnancy test in the pocket. The dancer immediately began crying before hugging Woods.
Five months later, the “Dancing With the Stars” alum wished his wife a happy Mother’s Day with a touching Instagram tribute.
Fisher called the nutritionist his “queen” in the May post, gushing, “I’m the luckiest.”
The new parents were longtime friends before they began dating in 2017. The Broadway star proposed to Woods two years later at her family’s beach home in Alabama.
“We’ve been best friends for over a decade before we started dating, and so there was a pretty easy transition into going into dating, and then it didn’t take any time at all for me to know she was my person,” Fisher told Us Weekly in 2019. “Ellie’s amazing.”
The former “Dancing With the Stars: Junior” host went on to describe why she’s “the perfect partner” for him.
“We grew up in a theater conservatory together, so she knows and respects and loves art and loves what I do and has been part of my career and my journey since the beginning,” Fisher said at the time. “We’re in each other’s corner and we’re here for each other.”
