The Dallas Cowboys offense is going to look a little different in 2022. While they still have Dak Prescott under center, the weapons around him have undergone some changes this offseason.

Amari Cooper was traded to the Cleveland Browns as a cap casualty. Cedrick Wilson Jr. signed a free-agent deal with the Miami Dolphins. While the team was able to re-sign Michael Gallup, he will miss a large chunk of the season as he recovers from an ACL tear suffered in a Week 17 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals.

In their place, the team did sign veteran James Washington away from the Pittsburgh Steelers. They also used a third-round pick on wide receiver Jalen Tolbert out of South Alabama.

The only holdover that Dallas is going to have for Week 1 this season is CeeDee Lamb. Lamb was already ascending as the No. 1 target in this offense, as he received more targets and had more receptions and yardage than Cooper did in 2021.

He will be the focus of opposing teams, especially until Gallup is able to get back into the lineup. That could lead to some challenges, as teams will double and triple-team him. Until his teammates prove they can step up and take advantage of the single coverage they will inevitably see, teams are going to make sure that Lamb does not beat them.

But, as the unquestioned No. 1 target in the offense this season, many are projecting Lamb to have a big season. One of those people is Eric Eager of PFF. He believes Lamb is going to have his way with opponents this season.

Last season with the Cowboys, CeeDee Lamb finished the season with 79 receptions for 1,102 yards and six touchdowns. He improved upon all his numbers from his rookie season and now entering Year 3, he has a great chance of seeing an increase in production once again.
