MONTREAL - As an elite athlete, Nick Suzuki knows the value of training.

That's why he's the perfect ambassador for the
Asista Foundation
, which focuses on rescuing dogs from difficult situations and giving them a new lease on life by training them to be service dogs.
In turn, those service dogs play a pivotal role in helping both children and adults cope with the challenges involved in maintaining a healthy mind, with the ultimate goal of helping them better integrate into society.

Much like playing in the NHL, rehabilitating dogs takes a lot of hard work and a sustained effort, but the rewards are priceless when those lovely animals pay it forward by helping people cope with mental health conditions, one of the most important aspects of our society.
As one of Quebec's most famous athletes, Suzuki will bring awareness to the Asista Foundation, impacting communities at the grassroots level and spearheading new initiatives throughout the area.
