Washington County Commissioners met Tuesday, May 31 for one of the shortest meetings on record.  The meeting lasted a total of seven minutes, with Commissioner Lea Ann Laybourn there in-person and Commissioners Kent Vance and Tony Wells present via ZOOM.  Colorado Counties Incorporated (CCI) is holding their summer conference in Colorado Springs and Commissioner Laybourn and County Administrator Misty Peterson left soon after the meeting to attend.

Pastor Randy Feather of the First Presbyterian Church of Otis opened the meeting with a prayer, followed by the “Pledge of Allegiance.”  Peterson then gave her report.  The Millig Design contract was presented for the commissioners to approve and sign.

“There were some changes in the contract made by Millig and our attorney approved the changes,” Peterson said.

The contract was approved.

The nursing home financial matters were discussed and no action was needed.  The last order of business was a building permit for T-Mobile to put an addition to the building in Anton on Highway 36.  The commissioners approved building permit 22-16.

The meeting was then adjourned.
