All the Ladies Glen Powell Has Dated Publicly

Glen Powell has grown a large fan base since appearing in 2022's "Top Gun: Maverick," the critically acclaimed sequel to 1986 film "Top Gun." In the film, Powell plays the charismatic, confident Jake "Hangman" Seresin, who often clashes with Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw (Miles Teller) and Pete "Maverick" Mitchell (Tom Cruise). Powell's characterization of Hangman has left many fans wondering if the actor has used that same charm to land any romantic relationships in real life (when he's not using it to land roles in highly-anticipated rom-coms starring Sydney Sweeney, that is).

Despite being certifiably handsome, Powell has only publicly dated three ladies since gaining the spotlight — though his most recent relationship with Gigi Paris reportedly came to an end in early April amid already-debunked rumors that he and his "Anyone But You" costar Sweeney's relationship had turned romantic (but more on that later).

If you find yourself feeling slightly obsessed with Powell's love life, then read ahead for everyone the star has dated over the years.

01

Glen Powell and Nina Dobrev (July 2017-November 2017)

Speculation that "The Vampire Diaries" actor Nina Dobrev and Powell were dating began in January 2017 after both shared since-deleted pictures on Instagram hanging out together among friends. Rumors intensified when Powell was spotted attending a Golden Globes afterparty with Dobrev that same month, though representatives for both actors assured the press "they are good friends" at the time, according to E! News.

In the following months, the two kept their relationship under wraps. It wasn't until July 2017 that the pair were confirmed as a couple after cute photo-booth snaps of Dobrev and Powell at Julianne Hough's wedding were posted on Twitter, according to Us Weekly.

By November 2017, E! News reported the couple was taking a break, citing Dobrev's packed schedule as the cause for their separation at the time. "Nina just wrapped on a project and is about to start another and her schedule has been a huge part of it. They haven't been spending much time together since the end of the summer," a source told the outlet.

02

Glen Powell and Renee Bargh (2018-2019)

Powell remained single, at least publicly, for a while after his split from Dobrev. In November 2018, Us Weekly reported the "Scream Queens" actor was dating Extra TV host Renee Bargh. Multiple sources confirmed the news to the outlet, with one sharing that the two were together for approximately six months at the time.

Little has been reported about the pair's relationship, but by November 2019, Bargh revealed to Daily Mail that she was single. Given that the news of their split never broke in the media, it is unknown exactly when the couple parted ways.

03

Glen Powell and Gigi Paris (January 2020-April 2023)

Powell was romantically linked to model Gigi Paris in January 2020 when the pair were seen enjoying a vacation together in Punta Mita, Mexico, per photos published by Daily Mail.

The two kept their relationship private for nearly a year before Paris shared a sweet picture on Instagram confirming their love on Valentine's Day in 2021. Paris captioned the post, "Here's to you," tagging Powell's Instagram handle. Powell similarly confirmed their relationship in a Valentine's Day Instagram post for Paris, writing, "My Ride or Die. Happy Valentines Day, y'all!" The post has since been deleted.

Over the course of their relationship, the couple was not shy about hitting the red carpet together and posting snippets of their life on social media. Powell and Paris made their first red carpet appearance in November 2021 when they attended the Guggenheim International Gala together. The pair went to Coachella in April 2022 and attended the "Top Gun: Maverick" movie premiere in May 2022.

By April 2023, however, cracks became apparent in the pair's relationship. When Powell's chemistry with his "Anyone But You" costar Sweeney sparked buzz on social media among fans who thought the actors might be getting romantic, Paris seemingly tipped the world off to the fact that she and Powell were no longer an item on April 26. She posted a video of herself walking down the street on Instagram with the caption, "Know your worth & onto the next."

The same day, People reported, per sources, that the pair had split amicably, with an insider claiming it was not Powell and Paris's first breakup, as their increasingly busy schedules had taken a toll. "Gigi and Glen had broken up several times," the source said. "They had been on the rocks since 'Top Gun' came out. Gigi was never happy with the long distance filming and when she came to Australia [to visit Powell where he was filming 'Anyone But You'], they both decided to break up for good." A second source told People, "It wasn't about infidelity. She's on different coasts modeling, he's on different coasts filming. When she left [Australia], they were on great terms."
