Christian duo for King & Country performs at the Morris in South Bend with CeCe Winans

SOUTH BEND — For King & Country and special guest CeCe Winans perform at 8 p.m. June 10 at the Morris Performing Arts Center, 211 N. Michigan St.

Composed of brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone, for King & Country has released five albums, including the Gold Record-certified “Run Wild. Live Free. Love Strong.” and “Burn the Ships,” as well as 2022’s “What Are We Waiting For?”

The contemporary Christian music duo also has won four Grammy Awards and 10 GMA Dove Awards.

A crossover Christian, soul and pop singer, Winans began her career with her brother in the Christian duo BeBe & CeCe Winans, with whom she released seven albums before starting her solo career with 1995’s “Alone in His Presence.”

She has since released 10 additional solo studio albums and the live album “Believe for It,” in 2021 and become the best-selling and most-awarded female gospel artist of all time. Her duet with Whitney Houston, 1996’s “Count on Me,” peaked at No. 8 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
