ON THIS TORNADO WARNING IN EFFECT. IT IS WELL TO THE WEST OF THE LOGAN AREA RIGHT NOW. YOU SEE THE CLUSTER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. THE WARNING IS IN EFFECT UNTIL SEVEN 40 5 P.M. DAN DORIS AND SOME LARGE HAIL ASSOCIATED WITH THAT. THE AREAS IN THE PURPLE IS WHERE -- HAIL IS ASSOCIATED. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL THAT ONE OF THESE STORMS COULD FORM A BRIEF TORNADO ACROSS THE AREA. LET’S SHOW YOU WHERE THE SAYS. IT IS IN A REMOTE WORKED -- AREA RIGHT NOW. WE WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR THIS EVENING. IT WILBEL APPROACHING ONE OF THE MORE POPULATED AREAS. Tornado warning cancelled for San Miguel and Harding Counties
A tornado warning that was issued for rural areas of San Miguel and Harding Counties in eastern New Mexico has been cancelled. Doppler radar indicated a tornado and golf ball size hail about 14 miles south of Mosquero. The storm was moving southeast at 15 miles per hour. Those who are in the path of this storm can expect large hail. Damage to trees, roofs, windows and mobile homes are also possible with this storm.
