Two people wounded in Paterson shooting on Wabash Avenue

A Paterson man and a Clifton man were wounded in a shooting on Wabash Avenue on Monday evening, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police said a 24-year-old Paterson man and a 19-year-old Clifton man arrived at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for non-fatal gunshot wounds.

Police said the victims were shot on Wabash and Crooks avenues at around 8:45 p.m. Both men got to the hospital via private vehicles, police said.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit at 973-321-1342.

    and that is the "safest" part of Paterson…(right by mayor's house too) ..no place is safe in Paterson….whats next a shooting at Farmers Market on East Railway on a Sunday morning…i doubt the hood rats heard about Sunday Truce

    very little if any police presence in the lakeview section. that's why it's like a segment from the fast and the furious around here in the evening and nights. you have drifting burnout at every intersection in this area.
