A Fremont man and a Beemer woman pleaded guilty to charges related to a break-in and theft at a rural Pilger residence last fall.
Carl Epley, 35, and Jennifer Oswald, 41, entered pleas in Stanton County District Court on Monday.
Both Epley and Oswald were arrested after an investigation by the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office, which led to the recovery of much of the stolen property.
Epley submitted guilty pleas to theft and possession of a firearm by a felon. According to Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger, guns were taken during the break-in.

Oswald pleaded guilty to theft.
Both will be sentenced later this summer.
