Chrishell Stause and her new partner, G Flip, were seen hugging the “Selling Sunset” star’s ex-boyfriend and boss Jason Oppenheim at the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted.
Stause, 40, and G Flip, 27, smiled gleefully as they both wrapped their arms around Oppenheim, 45, to greet the Oppenheim Group co-founder in a video shared on MTV’s Instagram Sunday night.
The former “All My Children” actress appeared to mouth the words, “What’s happening?” as she embraced her former beau.
Several fans of the series flooded the comments section of the post with mixed reactions to the friendly reunion.
“Still have hope they’ll end up back together again!” one person wrote.
“Jason and chrishell forever ❤️,” a second echoed.
“Well that was awkward…” a third netizen commented.
“im uncomfortable lmao,” another agreed.
Stause and Oppenheim’s relationship was documented on Season 5 of “Selling Sunset” after they went public as a couple in July 2021.
But the exes confirmed their breakup in December over their “different wants regarding a family.”
“While Chrishell and I are no longer together, we remain best friends and we will always love and support one another,” Oppenheim wrote on Instagram at the time. “She was the most amazing girlfriend I’ve ever had, and it was the happiest and most fulfilling relationship of my life.”
Stause later revealed that they did not see eye to eye on wanting children, which was a dealbreaker for her. She wrote on Instagram, “Men have the luxury of time that women don’t and that’s just the way it goes.”
Oppenheim appeared to still be heartbroken at the end of April, getting teary-eyed during the reunion taping while talking about their split. He told Page Six the same month that he was still getting over Stause.
“[I’m] still healing, still processing,” he said. “I think or I’d hoped that maybe I’d … processed it better by now, but it’s clearly going to be a longer process than I expected.”
Stause revealed during the same reunion episode that she was dating G Flip, who is non-binary and uses the pronouns they/them.
The pair met after Stause starred as the singer’s love interest in the steamy music video for their song “Get Me Outta Here.”
And things seem to be getting serious for the new couple, as a source told People in May that they are already living together. They were also seen showing plenty of PDA at the MTV Awards, where “Selling Sunset” won Best Docu-Reality series.
Stause was married to “This Is Us” star Justin Hartley from October 2017 to February 2021. She has claimed that Hartley, 45, told her he was divorcing her via text message.
The real estate agent also briefly dated her “Dancing With the Stars” partner, Keo Motsepe.
