OGDEN, Utah (KUTV) — Dozens gathered in Weber County for a Ukraine 5k run that aimed to bring awareness to human trafficking.
Event organizers with Washington Heights Church in Ogden partnered with Love Justice International to raise funds to fight human trafficking in Ukraine.

"With an estimation of over 5 million, majority being women and children, who fled Ukraine many are vulnerable and become victims to the sex traffic industry," they stated on their event page.
Washington Heights Church said on their website that they have raised over $100,000 to purchase food and medical supplies for Ukraine.
