Carol “Kayo” Santiny, 78 a native and resident of Grand Isle, Louisiana passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 9:30 am until service time at Our Lady of the Isle Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with burial in the church cemetery.
Kayo is survived by his wife; Margaret Dale Blanchard Santiny, children; Gary W. (Shalynn) Bradberry, Lise Bradberry, Gina Bradberry, Lori Bradberry Gerhauser, and Nita Bradberry, grandchildren; Chase, Jordan, Loren, Bobbi, Toni, Robyn, Jullian, Gavyn and Colyn, great-grandchildren; Jordynn, Kristopher and Asher, brothers; Gibson and Gerald Santiny, sister; Olga Folse, and his furbaby; Sassy.
Kayo was preceded in death by his parents; Bernard and Antonia Bradberry Santiny, brothers; Robert, Nolan, Russell and Roy Santiny.
Kayo serviced his country in the United States Army and was a proud American. He was a member of the American Legion Post 309, he was retired and loved nature, carpentry and sitting on his porch listening to the oldies but goodies.
