Looking for the next generation of Spartans, the Emery boys basketball team will be hosting a camp at the Spartan Center June 7-9 . The camp will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.all three days. You can register by showing up a half hour early on the first day or by scanning the QR code on the picture above.

According to Emery coach Dave Justice, the camp will focus on basic skills like dribbling, passing and shooting as well as work on the overall concept of team play.

Justice feels that incoming freshman who might be interested in playing for the Spartans will find the camp beneficial as they will be working on concepts the the Spartans will implement in the regular season. He also went on to say that anyone who just wants to get out and have fun playing basketball with friends should sign-up and come out.

The camp will wind up with a three point contest, a slam-dunk contest on a lowered rim as will as a tournament.
