Veteran sportscaster Brent Musburger will no longer call games on the radio for the Las Vegas Raiders.

“Many thanks to the @Raiders organization for fond memories. I’ll miss broadcast partner Lincoln Kennedy and the radio production crew,” Musburger posted on Twitter. “What’s next? I hear Mike Trout might step down as commissioner of his fantasy league. You never know!”

Musburger, the former anchor of “NFL Today” on CBS and ex-halftime host of “Monday Night Football” agreed to an initial three-year deal with the Raiders in 2018.

During his tenure, the team moved from Oakland to Las Vegas in 2020 and Musburger continued to call games through the 2021 NFL season.

Musburger left ESPN in 2017 to help his nephew Brian Musburger launch the Vegas Stats & Information Network (VSiN). Last September, Stormy Buonantony took over the lead host role from Musburger on its flagship program “My Guys in the Desert.”

The Raiders have not announced Musburger’s exit or his successor. It’s unclear how this will affect Kennedy.
