Jenna Ushkowitz Welcomes Her First Child: "Our Hearts Have Burst Wide Open"

Jenna Ushkowitz is officially a mom! On June 3, the 36-year-old "Glee" alum announced on Instagram that she gave birth to her first child with husband David Stanley. "Our hearts have burst wide open ❤️," she captioned a photo of her sporting a "mama" necklace while cradling her daughter in her arms. She even shared a small peek at her baby girl's little arm.

Ushkowitz announced her pregnancy in January, posting a black-and-white photo on Instagram showing off her baby bump with her husband. "Our hearts are so full… Baby Girl Stanley coming soon 💕," she wrote in the caption. Since the announcement, Ushkowitz has documented parts of her pregnancy journey via social media. Last month, she opened up about how she prepped for her daughter's arrival by preparing for her potential future health.

"As we get closer to meeting our baby girl, I'm thinking about all the choices I'll have to make as a new mom and the ones I have to make before she even arrives," she captioned an Instagram reel. ". . . we decided to preserve our baby's cord blood and cord tissue at birth. In times like these where there are so many unknowns, my family can rest easy knowing that we are doing everything we can for our daughter's and family's future health."

The birth of Ushkowitz and Stanley's daughter is yet another big milestone for the couple. The two first met on a Hinge date in June 2018 and got engaged two years later. Last July, Ushkowitz and Stanley got married in an outdoor ceremony in Los Angeles surrounded by friends and family, and now they have a new bundle of joy in their life.

Congratulations to the couple on their growing family!
