Minor injured after diving over 80 feet at Fall Creek Falls in Bledsoe County Thursday

BLEDSOE COUNTY, Tenn. —
A minor was injured after diving over 80 feet into a swimming hole at Fall Creek Falls State Park Thursday, says the Dunlap Fire Department.

The minor jumped from the top of Caney Creek Falls (approximately 85 feet), DFD says.
The minor received severe but non-life threatening injuries, according to DFD.
DFD says park rangers went below and packaged then carried the patient to a tension high line haul system setup by responders.
The patient was transported by Van Buren County EMS.
