Amanda Peet Joins Lizzy Caplan and Joshua Jackson in FATAL ATTRACTION Series at Paramount+
Amanda Peet (The Whole Nine Yards, Dirty John) has signed on to co-star in the adapted series Fatal Attraction at Paramount+. She joins previously announced co-stars Lizzy Caplan and Joshua Jackson. The series is described as “a deep-dive reimagining of the film that will explore fatal attraction and the themes of marriage and infidelity through the lens of modern attitudes toward strong women, personality disorders, and coercive control.”
Peet will star as Beth Gallagher, a loyal wife, loving mother and successful small business owner whose world unravels when her husband Dan’s (Jackson) indiscretion threatens to destroy their life together.
I like all three of these actors, but I am pretty tired of all the remakes, as I know everyone else is. There are just so many original stories out there that could be made. But maybe the script and cast will bring something new to the story. Stay tuned for more info as the series develops.
