Oklahoma hospitals, medical centers respond to Saint Francis shooting

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
Oklahoma hospitals and medical centers have issued statements following the mass shooting at Saint Francis in Tulsa Wednesday.

The Oklahoma Hospital Association tweeted:
We are heartbroken to hear of the horrible violence that occurred today at Saint Francis in Tulsa. We hold the caregivers and staff in our prayers. We must do everything we can to end senseless violence and to ensure the safety of those who care for patients. We #HAVHope.
Hillcrest Medical Center posted on its Facebook page saying:
We are deeply saddened by the tragic and senseless act of violence on the campus of Saint Francis Health System. We grieve the lives lost and our hearts go out to our health care colleagues and the patients impacted by the shooting.
The Oklahoma State University Medical Center also posted on its Facebook page:
Tonight we are mourning those who were lost due to the unspeakable tragedy at the Natalie Medical Building on the Saint Francis Yale Campus. The OSU Medical Center family is praying for all involved and especially for strength and peace during this difficult time.
