Atlanta Hawks GM Travis Schlenk and his scouting department have been going over prospects for months, but have not given much speculation into which direction they may be looking to go.

Former Kentucky great and 13-year NBA veteran Antoine Walker joined The Morning Show with John and Hugh, and had some advice for the Hawks and any other franchise looking to pick a player from the current crop of Wildcats.

“What he has been able to produce as far as guys in the pros has turned out to be very good” praised Walker when reflecting on the products Coach John Calipari has sent to the NBA from the Kentucky program.

John and Hugh also asked Walker about one Kentucky player specifically, 6-foot-3 combo guard Tyrone “TyTy” Washington Jr.

“The pro game will be a lot better for him because the floor will be a lot bigger and we will be able to see if offensive skill set come out”, remarked Walker when describing what he expects for Washington at the NBA level.

Would the Hawks consider another guard to go beside Trae Young?

Several mock drafts have Washington on the Hawks' radar.
